This abstract landscape was inspired by the wide open spaces of the Willamette Valley. The foreground is painted with varying viscosities of paint, full of energy and texture . As you travel into the distance, the colors grow lighter and softer until the land dissolves into transparent layers of gentle hills in blues and greens. There’s a feeling of both being grounded and full of motion.
